Starting Beauty by Jenn. My story.
It all begins with an idea.
As a kid, I struggled with having very little eyebrow hair, which made me fixate on everyone else's full brows. In high school, I started filling them in every day, never leaving the house without them done. And yes, I went through that “blocky eyebrow” phase! It wasn’t until I turned 18 that I discovered microblading. I did tons of research and was so eager to get it done, but as a minimum wage worker at the time, I couldn’t afford it. The thought that I could actually become certified to do it myself never crossed my mind. Years later, during a tough time in my life, microblading showed up again in my Instagram feed, and suddenly I just knew that was the path I needed to take. After a lot of hard work and dedication, I’m finally here, ready to help you feel as beautiful and confident as you deserve!
Where did I get certified?
I began my journey at Mitchell Community College, where I completed the Esthetics program and earned my Esthetician license. From there, I went on to study at the Master Tattoo Institute in Miami, Florida, where I obtained my tattoo and permanent makeup license.
